Vector Belize flag
The Belize flag is a colorful and vibrant symbol of the country. It features a deep blue background with two red diagonal stripes, and a white section in the center with a coat of arms. The coat of arms is a shield with a mahogany tree, a ship, and tools of the trade, representing the country’s trading past. Above the shield is a human arm holding a sword, symbolizing the country’s defense of its sovereignty. The colors of the flag are meant to represent the country’s natural resources, as well as its culture and history. The Belize flag was adopted in 1981, replacing the previous flag which had been used since the 19th century. It was created by a schoolteacher in the 1950s who wanted to design a flag that represented the country’s distinct identity. The design was chosen from a competition of more than 1,000 entries. Now you can easily copy the Belize flag in a variety of formats including SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF, and WEBP with a single click, and download it for your own use.
